Cremona continues to strengthen its reputation as one of Europe’s leading centers for livestock innovation and the dairy supply chain. This year’s edition of the Cremona International Livestock Exhibitions places a strong emphasis on international outreach, thanks to an incoming and matchmaking program developed in collaboration with the Italian Trade Agency (ICE).
Exhibitors and delegations from Europe, Central America, Central Asia and the Middle East are gathering in the city, turning Cremona into a key crossroads for technological exchange and business development in a sector undergoing rapid transformation driven by sustainability, digitalization and innovation.
Maurizio Forte, Central Director for Export Sectors at ICE, underlined the importance of the initiative: “We are proud to support CremonaFiere again this year, especially in its efforts to grow internationally. Together, we identified strategic markets in Central America, Central Asia and across Europe and invited 75 specialized professionals working in genetics, animal feed, farming technologies and food processing. Our goal is to create real business opportunities for Italian companies and to enhance the entire supply chain, from production to the final product.”
Roberto Biloni, President of CremonaFiere, also stressed the wider impact of the partnership: “The international livestock sector is at a crossroads, and the role of Cremona has never been more important. Working with ICE allows us to give Italian companies high-level access to foreign markets while also bringing international buyers and operators to Italy. This creates a strategic bridge toward new business areas and long-term growth.”
