From Monday to Friday, BigItalyFocus provides an information overview, ranged from development aid to made in Italy
May 31 - The best Italian restaurants in Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro come together in a single guide collecting information on more than a hundred spots and an extensive introduction on the most imitated cuisine in the world. Brazil has millions of admirers of Italian cuisine, a symbol of the Mediterranean diet, and countless restaurants that claim to be “Italian.” In fact, among them, only few really follow Italian recipes, ingredients and service quality. Community, the publishing house behind the Italian Restaurants Guide, came up with the idea to offer Brazilians a good reference tool to find genuine Italian cuisine. The specialized manual will be presented on June 11 at the Livraria Culture of Sao Paulo. The Grico - Guide to Italian Restaurants Community - presents a selection of the best restaurants of Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. In the former alone, 57 restaurants serving Italian cuisine were reviewed.
THE GUIDE
GRICO was made possible thanks to the support of the Italian-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, in charge of the Italian Hospitality brand in Brazil, the Italian Cuisine Academy, based in Milan, and the Italian Embassy in Brazil. GRICO is designed to inform and guide customers in their choice of real Italian cuisine. In over 224 pages, it contains information and suggestions of dishes from each of the restaurants, offering an illustrated encyclopedia on the history of the Italian diet, the ingredients used in the most typical dishes, from spices to appetizers, sweets drinks, and various types of famous pasta and sauces.
