From Monday to Friday, BigItalyFocus provides an information overview, ranged from development aid to made in Italy
Helsinki – Until April 3, it is possible to visit Under the Same Sky at Koola Art Space in Helsinki, an exhibition organized by the Italian Cultural Institute of Helsinki, featuring a selection of ceramic and metal sculptures by the artist Giovanna Incerti. Through a symbolic and material language, the exhibition explores the complex relationship between humans and the natural world. The delicacy of clay and the solidity of metal enter into dialogue, shaping works that reflect on coexistence, resilience, and the often-fragile balances that govern life on the planet. The sculptures stem from the idea that ecosystems are deeply interconnected and that humans do not exist separately from nature but are an integral part of it. Alongside images of harmony and care, signs of imbalance and exploitation also emerge, pointing to a relationship often marked by contradictions. The exhibition raises a question without a definitive answer: why do we continue to take from the planet, ignoring the consequences of our actions, which inevitably fall back on us? Under the Same Sky invites visitors to slow down and reflect on the sense of belonging and shared responsibility that unites all living beings. Beyond differences, we are all under the same sky: shared, finite, indifferent to our desires—the only horizon we are given. (9Colonne)
