Jazz, Chiara Pancaldi presents her new album in Japan

(13 June 2017) "A singer in love with music, all music. A curious person who loves to get into deep contact with all aspects of life, so music is no exception": this is how Chiara Pancaldi, a talented Italian jazz singer who is now preparing to make a stop in Japan, defines herself. Pancaldi will perform for the first time in Tokyo where she will preview songs from her new CD, "What is there to say" (label: Challlenge Records) to be released in Japan next October. Pancaldi's performance takes place on Saturday, June 17th at 16:00, in he Auditorium Umberto Agnelli of the Italian Institute of Culture in Tokyo. Pancaldi is a well-established jazz musician who performs regularly in popular venues and festivals, from Umbria Jazz to London Jazz Festival, Sunset Sunside Jazz Club, Jazz Keller Club, Muze, and others. COLLABORATION AND AWARDS

Chiara Pancaldi has performed with Italian and foreign artists of the likes of Fabrizio Bosso, Piero Odorici, and Darryll Hall. "I walk a little faster," her album recorded with Cyrus Chestnut on piano, John Webber on bass and Joe Farnsworth on drums. She was awarded Best Jazz Album Award from Jazz Critique Magazine in 2015.
