(October 19, 2017) - The two-day conference "L'Italiano che parliamo e scriviamo" (The Italian we speak and write) organised by the Italian Cultural Institute of Brussels for the 17th edition of the Italian Language Week in the World, is taking place today in Brussels. The aim of the conference is to offer an overview of the changes that have taken place in the language since the 1980s to the present and to analyse in detail the state of contemporary written and spoken Italian in various fields: from song to comic, cinema to literature to social networks, gender and new uses of punctuation.
