Literature, Albinati a guest <br> at the IIC Hamburg

(16 November 2018) On November 23rd at 19:00, at the Italian Institute of Culture in Hamburg, author Edoardo Albinati, moderated and translated by Verena von Koskull, will carry out a reading of extracts in German by Anna Lena Schmidt. Albinati, class 1956, lives in Rome, where he also works as a director, journalist, translator, and writer. He is involved in receiving refugees and has been teaching prisoners of Rebibbia for more than twenty years. His fourth novel "The Catholic School" has been awarded the Strega Prize, the most prestigious Italian literary prize. His novel, translated into German by Verena von Koskull, will be published on 2 November 2018 by the Berlin Verlag publishing house. The event was organised in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute of Munich and the Berlin Verlag publishing house.
