Documentary dedicated to Tabucchi at the IIC

On Friday March 29th at 18:30, at the Umberto Agnelli Auditorium of the Italian Cultural Institute in Tokyo, there will be a screening of the documentary “If a little bit of everything remains. In the footsteps of Antonio Tabucchi” (Se di tutto resta un poco. Sulle Tracce di Antonio Tabucchi), the first documentary dedicated to the famous writer who died March 25th, 2012 in his beloved Lisbon. Six years after his death, the film recalls him as one of the most important intellectuals of the late twentieth century, a writer who has been translated into over eighteen languages, author of masterpieces of the caliber of "Notturno indiano" and "Sostiene Pereira". Tabucchi was also a translator of much of Fernando Pessoa's production, and a professor at the Universities of Siena, Genoa, Bologna and one of the most active and brilliant figures on the cultural scene of his time.
