Munich - On Saturday, September 14, the first Italian Language Day in Bavaria will take place. The event is organized by ADI e.V. (Association of Italian Teachers in Germany) in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute of Munich (which will host the event starting at 5:30 PM), the Italian Education System Abroad, and under the patronage of the Italian Consulate General in Munich. During the event, best practices in teaching and learning Italian as a second language (LS/L2) in German educational contexts will be presented to a professional audience (teachers, school leaders, and representatives of Bavarian and Italian educational institutions), as well as to anyone interested in Italian LS/L2 instruction. Representatives of selected initiatives will present their activities in dedicated spaces for various teaching and learning contexts. Additionally, there will be a discussion on the prospects and strategies for promoting Italian in Bavaria, offering participants a valuable opportunity for exchange and idea sharing. (9colonne)
