Madrid – The Italian Embassy in Madrid will celebrate Made in Italy Day 2025 on April 7 with an event titled “Precious Connections: Coral and Cameos from Torre del Greco Meet Madrid,” organized in partnership with Assocoral, the Italian association of coral and cameo entrepreneurs.

This year, the spotlight will be on Italian craftsmanship and excellence, with a particular focus on fashion and jewelry.

Italian-made products have a strong and diverse presence in Spain. ISTAT data for 2024 show record exports exceeding 34.5 billion euros (+4.3%), making Spain the fourth-largest market for Italian goods worldwide and the fastest-growing among Italy’s top five export destinations.

This success is part of a decade-long process of integration and complementarity between the two markets, further strengthened by high levels of bilateral investment. According to 2023 Bank of Italy data, Spain is the second-largest destination for Italian direct investment abroad and the seventh-largest foreign investor in Italy.

Italy also exports significant services to Spain—totaling 5.5 billion euros in 2024—primarily in tourism, followed by business services, transport, and telecommunications.
