Dakar – The final screening of the Italian Screens series in Dakar will take place on July 22 at 8:00 PM at the Pathé Cinema. The event is part of Fare Cinema 2025, a global initiative promoting the Italian film industry and the many professions behind it. Organized by the Italian Cultural Institute, this special edition of Italian Screens offers exclusive premieres to Senegalese audiences.
The closing film is Il tempo che ci vuole by Francesca Comencini, an intimate and autobiographical story reflecting on her relationship with her father, renowned filmmaker Luigi Comencini. Set during the turbulent years of political unrest in Italy, the film explores themes of time, memory, and personal legacy.
All films are shown in their original Italian version with French subtitles.
