Guangzhou – A three-week journey through China to explore and celebrate the essence of Chianti DOCG, weaving it together with local culinary and cultural traditions. This is the spirit behind Chianti Academy 2025, the educational initiative created by the Chianti Wine Consortium, which will make stops in four key cities across the Chinese market: Guangzhou (August 22–23), Shanghai (August 29–30), Chengdu (September 5–6), and Beijing (September 12–13).
“The Chinese market is both a challenge and a major opportunity for us,” says Giovanni Busi, president of the Chianti Wine Consortium. “With the Chianti Academy, we’re going beyond traditional promotion: we're training professionals who can become true ambassadors of our wine and share an authentic story of Tuscany.”
The program includes classroom sessions, guided tastings, and interactive discussions—a full immersion into the world of Chianti DOCG, where wine meets gastronomy and storytelling. (9colonne)
