Rome – Italia.it, the official tourism portal promoted by the Italian Ministry of Tourism, is strengthening its partnership with Tiqets, the international platform that leads the way in digital ticketing for cultural attractions and experiences. The goal is to promote Italy’s tourism offering globally and foster new opportunities for growth and collaboration.
Despite the absence of targeted marketing campaigns, recent data show that Italia.it has already attracted strong interest from strategic markets such as the United States, Argentina, and Australia. This organic visibility highlights the platform’s potential to raise awareness of lesser-known destinations and help diversify tourist flows, in line with the Ministry’s broader objectives of sustainability and seasonality management.
Through this collaboration, the two partners aim to enhance the international digital presence of Italy’s tourism sector, simplify access to high-quality, authentic experiences throughout the country, and give greater visibility to destinations and attractions that are often overlooked. The initiative reflects a shared commitment to promoting a more balanced and widespread model of tourism, capable of showcasing the full richness and diversity of Italy.
