Berlin – On 12 September at 7:30 p.m., Comites Berlin, in collaboration with the Carlo Levi Association, will host an event in the German capital entitled “Pasta, Wine and Politics – You Don’t Talk at the Table While Eating, Let Alone About Politics!”. That evening, however, at the Carlo Levi Association, the focus will indeed be on politics, civil rights, organised crime and femicides – but also on culinary culture, tradition and innovation, the philosophy of food, quality and all things good. Guest of the evening will be Marinella Sammarco, a Sicilian from Stuttgart, international chef and author of the books “Sicilia, passione in cucina” and “Echt sizilianisch kochen”. While in conversation with Elettra de Salvo, she will also prepare a delicious dish of pasta alla trapanese for the audience. To take part, it is necessary to book by 7 September by sending an email to info@comites-berlin.de and to make a contribution starting from €8.
