Italy’s legacy in Costa Rican constitutional justice celebrated at UCR

San José – The Chair of Constitutional Law at the University of Costa Rica’s Faculty of Law, in collaboration with the Italian Embassy, is hosting a scientific seminar tonight, September 8, titled “The Influence of Italian Constitutional Justice on the Constitutional Court of Costa Rica.”
The event, held in the Faculty’s Sala de Juicios, highlights the role of Italian constitutional law, jurists, and the Constitutional Court in shaping Costa Rica’s constitutional jurisprudence. Speakers include Professor Rubén Hernández Valle, professor emeritus of constitutional law, and Professor Haideer Miranda Bonilla, current chair of constitutional law at UCR. On this occasion, the Embassy will also present the volume “Italy’s Contribution to Costa Rica’s Scientific Research.”
