Tampere – Italy will once again take center stage at the Worldwide Music Expo (WOMEX) 2025 in Finland with ITALY@WOMEX, a national pavilion dedicated to networking, showcases, and cross-cultural dialogue.
The initiative, coordinated and funded by ICE – the Italian Trade Agency, brings together major partners including Assomusica, Puglia Sounds, the Emilia-Romagna Music Commission, ATER Foundation, Sicily Music Conference, and the Italian World Beat network.
“Taking part in WOMEX means giving Italian music the international visibility it deserves,” said Carlo Parodi, President of Assomusica. “The ITALY@WOMEX Pavilion is a concrete platform for promoting our artists and companies, creating new professional links, and expanding into global markets. Collaboration between public and private sectors is key to growing our industry and reinforcing the global presence of Italian music.”
The pavilion will showcase the diversity of Italy’s contemporary sound — balancing deep cultural roots with forward-looking creativity — and highlight the country’s growing role in the global live and recording industries.
