Filippo Giardina on tour across Italy and Europe

Zurich – “La banalità del bene” (The Banality of Good) is a deliberately provocative title — and perfectly in tune with Filippo Giardina’s style of comedy: direct, irreverent, and designed to turn simple truths into sparks of critical thought.
Produced by Show Bees in collaboration with Talento, the show features Giardina at his most incisive, digging deep into the contradictions of contemporary society and transforming irony into a form of social inquiry.
The title, a nod to Hannah Arendt’s famous essay, is intentionally inverted, signaling the comedian’s intent to confront today’s complexity through satire — the only language, he suggests, that allows us to face the absurdities of reality without losing our sense of humor.
The monologue offers a lucid, often merciless look at a society that has lost its sense of proportion. Giardina explores the infantilism of a Western world that believes itself free while remaining enslaved to algorithms and ego. With his trademark dark humor, he laughs at the tragic to make it visible, turning the decay of modern life into both comedy and reflection. Because, as in all his work, his laughter never soothes — it unmasks.
The tour will premiere in major Italian cities in March 2026 before expanding across Europe in the fall, with dates in Zurich, Berlin, Amsterdam, Brussels, and London.
