Muonio – The Italian cross-country skiing team will hold its pre-season training camp in Muonio, Finland, from November 2 to 17, as preparations intensify for the upcoming Olympic season. The World Cup will open later this month in Ruka, also in Finland, from November 28 to 30.
Head coach Markus Cramer has called up 14 athletes. Leading the men’s team will be Federico Pellegrino, joined by Michael Hellweger, Elia Barp, Davide Graz, Simone Daprà, Paolo Ventura, Martino Carollo, and Lorenzo Romano.
The women’s squad will include Caterina Ganz, Nicole Monsorno, Federica Cassol, Nadine Laurent, Iris De Martin Pinter, and Maria Gismondi.
Meanwhile, another 14 athletes from the Milano Cortina 2026 development group will train in Davos, Switzerland, from November 3 to 14. Among them are Simone Mocellini, Francesco De Fabiani, Giovanni Ticcò, Andrea Zorzi, Davide Ghio, Aksel Artusi, Gabriele Matli, Davide Negroni, Virginia Cena, Martina Di Centa, Beatrice Laurent, and sisters Marit and Ylvie Folie. They will train under coaches Renato Pasini, Fulvio Scola, Tullio Grandelis, and Stefano Zampieri.
