Valletta – At the upcoming Malta Book Festival, the Italian Cultural Institute of Valletta will host a presentation of Lorenzo Cipriani’s book Il mare sospeso (The Suspended Sea), in collaboration with I libri di Mompracem, on Friday, November 7.
The book recounts the around-the-world voyage of the sloop Milanto—a remarkable sailing journey tracing the trade winds while steering clear of hurricanes.
When the pandemic strikes, the adventure takes an unexpected turn, transforming into a modern-day odyssey—an exploration of freedom, uncertainty, and resilience in a world suddenly suspended.
