Budapest – Italy’s senior men’s hockey team is preparing for their second major outing of the season in Budapest at the Tamás Sárközy Memorial Tournament 2025, part of the European Cup of Nations. After finishing second in their group in Sosnowiec earlier in November, the Azzurri will face the host team on December 12 at 7:00 PM, Poland again on December 13 at 3:30 PM, and France on December 14 at 1:00 PM. These matches will mark the final test games of their calendar year.
The team is eager to secure a fourth consecutive win in the tournament, aiming to confirm they are on track ahead of the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics. The games will take place at the Tüskecsarnok Arena in Budapest, with Friday, December 12, and Saturday, December 13, featuring matches at 3:30 PM and 7:00 PM, and Sunday, December 14, concluding with matches at 1:00 PM and 4:30 PM.
