The President of the Marche Region, Francesco Acquaroli, met with the regional councillor for economic development and internationalisation, Giacomo Bugaro, the President of the Marche Chamber of Commerce, Gino Sabatini, and the President of ICE Agency, Matteo Zoppas, to discuss renewed cooperation in support of local businesses.
The meeting, held at the regional headquarters in Ancona, provided an opportunity to reaffirm collaboration between the Region and ICE and to assess new ways of assisting companies in a challenging geopolitical environment. Strengthening internationalisation pathways for Marche-based firms was identified as a key priority.
Discussions focused on ICE initiatives such as incoming programmes and coordinated international missions, with particular attention to strategic sectors including fashion, yachting, agri-food, furniture, mechanics, start-ups and young talent. Among the options under consideration is the organisation of an ICE roadshow in the Marche region, aimed at presenting available tools and opportunities to local institutions and businesses while promoting regional excellence and products abroad.
