May 20 - Yishang Wine Business Consulting, home to Italian Winehouse in China, has become part of a Chinese government commission, at the request of the Municipality of Shanghai, monitoring the growing phenomenon of counterfeit wines’ commercialization. This special task force acts as part of the "Zhuomuniao" anti-counterfeiting program, sponsored by the Chinese central government. “In light of the situation - according to a note from Italian Winehouse –soon the e-commerce platform www.enotecaitaliana-china.com will be available online, an innovative tool for selling wine on-line and disseminating the Italian wine culture. The website is available to both the Italian companies and the Chinese importers and distributors – the aim is to ensure that all products traded on the platform are backed by serious standards of quality and authenticity. This is an increasingly sensitive issue for Chinese consumers, increasingly bombarded with counterfeit food and wine.” “We are the reference point for Italian wine – said a satisfied Fabio Carlesi, general secretary of Italian Winehouse – Our goal is to represent and present the expressions of quality, diversity, authenticity and innovative capacity in our production.” In general, Italian Winehouse presents itself more and more as an ambassador of Italian wine in the world. And it has taken its mission seriously, undertaking promotion efforts on multiple international fronts, including the Milan Expo 2015, the World's Fair which will take place from 1 May to 31 October 2015. Italian Winehouse is already carrying out information-dissemination activities with Italian wine producers spread throughout the territory, thanks to the spirit of initiative and strength of Giuseppe Oriana, president of Confindustria Pistoia and one of the most active subjects in this programming phase. The theme chosen for the Universal Exhibition in Milan 2015 is "Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life." So, in terms of wine, vineyards and wineries are concerned, the technologies, innovation, culture, traditions and creativity related to the field of nutrition and food are called into question.


THE ITALIAN WINEHOUSE
The Italian Winehouse, a unique public institution, was founded in 1960 as an operational tool of the National Fair Market DO and Prestigious Wine, established, in turn, in 1933 and officially recognized by Decree of the President of the Republic in 1950. The Winehouse aims to raise awareness, enhance and promote Italian wines. Siena, in the extremely suggestive location of the northeast ramparts of the Medici Fortress, hosts in a permanent exhibition more than 1,500 wines. These were strictly selected by a Committee that chose among more than 600 companies. This “wine database” has been computerized and now it is possible for visitors to gain significant insights into the world of Italian wine.
