Italian home textiles shine at Frankfurt Fair

Frankfurt – This year, sixteen Italian companies are once again showcased at Heimtextil, one of the world’s leading trade fairs for home textiles, running at the Frankfurt exhibition center until January 16. The initiative is organized by ICE in collaboration with TessiliVari, highlighting the excellence of Italian production in bedding, table linens, and home décor textiles.
Italy’s textile market reached a value of approximately €23 billion in 2024 and is projected to grow to around €29 billion by 2033, with an annual growth rate of 2.7% between 2025 and 2033. In 2025, the main export destinations for Italian home textiles were France (€86.3 million), the United States (€67.7 million), and Germany (€28.1 million). On the import side, Italy sourced mainly from Pakistan (€171.6 million), China (€144.9 million), and Turkey (€64 million).
