Motivi opens a new store in China

May 30 - Motivi, of the Miroglio Group brand, celebrated the opening of its new flagship store in Shanghai within the Raffles City department store. The shop is the 45th for the brand in China, but it is the first to bring forth a new brand-concept, which will soon be adopted by the chain’s retail stores at the international level. For its opening, the brand organized a choreographed fashion show in which the Italian-Taiwanese model Tiffany Hsu also participated. The opening show, named "Motivi of Love," was the first invitation for Chinese women to get to know the Italian way of life, in an environment recreating small glimpse of the beautiful country. Motivi develops and sells its collections through a "fast" business model that combines the latest fashion trends with distinctive stylistic interpretation. Their pieces are designed to meet the needs of contemporary girls who want more clothing that allows them to customize their look. Motivi is currently distributed in 30 countries through a network of over 500 stores.


MOTIVI IN CHINA

The Miroglio Group's commitment to China materialized through the creation of a dedicated structure, the China Market Development Organisation. This, which debuted last year, manages the Motivi development in the Asian territory. Reasons in 2012 registered a turnover in China of almost €10 million, a 25% increase compared to 2011. The strategic plan provides a strong development in the coming years, reaching 100 flagship and retail stores by 2015.
