Munich – The Italian Cultural Institute in Munich presents today, March 5, the event “Pasolini: una vita Corsara / ein Freibeuterleben,” curated by Leonardo Allegri in collaboration with Rinascita e.V., Lehmkul Bookstore, and Wagenbach Verlag, featuring the extraordinary participation of Ninetto Davoli, a friend and leading actor in numerous Pier Paolo Pasolini films. The year 2026 continues the commemoration of the 50th anniversary of Pier Paolo Pasolini’s death (1922–1975), who was murdered on November 2, 1975, in Ostia. Following the major celebratory events at the end of 2025 marking 50 years since his death, tributes extend into early 2026. “On the day of his birth, bringing his voice to life and revisiting his ideas and works – which remain highly relevant and vital today – is what inspires and motivates the spirit and purpose of the evening, alongside the desire to pay tribute once more and express gratitude to the artist and person Pier Paolo Pasolini.” (9Colonne)
