Pretoria - The Italian Cultural Institute of Pretoria, in collaboration with the Italian Embassy in Pretoria, will host Italian singer-songwriter Floriana Cangiano, known professionally as Flo, for two special concerts in South Africa.
Accompanied by guitarist Alessandro Morlando and percussionist Pasquale di Lascio, Flo will perform on June 3 at the Fairtree Atterbury Theatre in Pretoria and on June 4 at the Italian Sporting Club in Johannesburg.
The Pretoria concert will also feature acclaimed South African jazz pianist Yonela Mnana, creating a unique artistic dialogue between Italian songwriting and South African jazz traditions.
During the performances, Flo will present her latest project Brave Ragazze, her first concept album, dedicated to the works of some of the most courageous and controversial female artists of the Latin world.
