Dublin – A special Bloomsday celebration dedicated to the legacy of James Joyce and his muse, Nora Barnacle, will take place in Galway on June 19. The event is organized by the Galway Tour Guide Association, with support from the James Joyce Centre and the Wild Atlantic Way, and under the patronage of the Italian Cultural Institute in Dublin.
The program kicks off at 11:00 AM with the James Joyce & Nora Barnacle Walking Tour, departing from the Pádraic Ó Conaire statue in Eyre Square. At 1:00 PM, participants will gather at the Caprice Restaurant for an Ulysses-inspired brunch, featuring flavors and atmospheres that evoke Joyce's famous masterpiece. Throughout the event, which runs until 4:00 PM, guests will also have the opportunity to visit the Nora Barnacle House Museum. To fully immerse themselves in the spirit of the era, attendees are invited to dress in Edwardian-style attire. (9colonne)
