Addis Ababa – The exhibition Way In – Way Out by Yared Olivelli is on view at the Italian Cultural Institute in Addis Ababa through 2 September. Olivelli, a professor of fine arts at the Addis Ababa Academy of Fine Arts, explores the concept of home, which, in his vision, is not a physical building but an inner spiritual and emotional space. His works reflect on what we choose to embrace or reject in our lives, bringing into dialogue contrasting pairs such as light and darkness, fear and faith, noise and silence. (9colonne)
