Buenos Aires – The application deadline for the 10th Italy–Latin America SME Forum, scheduled to take place in Buenos Aires from September 6–8, has been extended to July 20. The initiative is promoted by ADIMRA (Association of Metallurgical Industrialists of the Argentine Republic) and IILA (International Italo-Latin American Organization), funded by DGCS-MAECI, and supported by UIA, Cancillería Argentina, PromArg, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Argentina, and other strategic partners.
The forum stands as one of the premier networking spaces for small and medium-sized enterprises, institutions, and economic stakeholders from Italy and Latin America, driving new partnerships and commercial and technological cooperation. The three-day event will feature plenary sessions, thematic workshops, B2B business and institutional matchmaking meetings, and industry-specific technical visits.
Key sectors featured in the 2026 edition include: metalmechanics, energy, and industrial equipment; digitalization, automation, and AI applications in manufacturing; agribusiness and food tech; and textiles and apparel, with a focus on design, innovation, and sustainability. Applications must be submitted by 11:59 PM (Italian time) on July 20. Participants will be selected by the organizing committee. (9colonne)
