Hong Kong – On July 17 at 7 p.m., the Dante Alighieri Society of Hong Kong will present a selection of short films from Visioni Sarde, the international initiative dedicated to showcasing the best of contemporary Sardinian cinema around the world. Organized by school coordinator Giulia Capasso, the screening will take place at the Dante Alighieri Society's headquarters within the Hong Kong Arts Centre, providing another international platform for emerging Sardinian filmmakers while highlighting the island's vibrant creative scene. Five English-subtitled short films will be screened: Ajò West! by Sara Corbioli, Brigas by Lorenzo Spinelli, Mamma by Matteo Martinez, True Love Waits by Simone Cicalò and A Face Made for Cinema (Una faccia da cinema) by Alberto Salvucci. The Visioni Sarde program is the result of a collaboration between the Cineteca di Bologna, the Sardegna Film Commission and the Dante Alighieri Society. (9colonne)
