Farnborough – Italy's Campania Region will take part in the Farnborough International Airshow 2026, to be held in the United Kingdom from July 20 to 24, with its own exhibition stand in Hall 1. Widely regarded as the world's leading aerospace event, the airshow alternates annually with the Paris Air Show at Le Bourget. The exhibition serves as one of the premier global meeting points for the aerospace industry, bringing together leading companies, institutions and investors while creating opportunities for commercial partnerships, industrial cooperation and investment. Campania's participation, organized in collaboration with the Campania Aerospace District, aims to showcase the region's manufacturing, technological and scientific strengths while further strengthening its international presence. The initiative is designed to promote the expertise and specialized capabilities of Campania's aerospace ecosystem by fostering connections among businesses, institutions and international investors, while reinforcing relationships with key players across the global supply chain. Aerospace is one of the region's most strategically important industries. Campania-based companies, which are primarily engaged in the production of structural components for fixed-wing aircraft and in advanced engineering services, will have the opportunity to meet leading international aircraft manufacturers and system integrators seeking new industrial partners and qualified suppliers. Participation in the Farnborough International Airshow 2026 is part of Campania's broader internationalization strategy, which already includes attendance at major industry events such as the Paris Air Show in Le Bourget, Aerospace & Defense Meetings in Turin and Aeromart in Toulouse. These initiatives are helping enhance the visibility and global competitiveness of the region's aerospace companies. "Campania's participation in the Farnborough International Airshow 2026 reaffirms our commitment to supporting one of the most strategic and innovative sectors of the regional economy," said Fulvio Bonavitacola, Regional Councillor for Productive Activities and Economic Development. "The aerospace industry is a flagship sector distinguished by outstanding industrial expertise, advanced research capabilities and highly skilled employment. Through this collective mission, we aim to strengthen the international presence of Campania's companies, create new opportunities for collaboration with the industry's leading global players, and attract investment to a sector that is a key driver of the region's technological and industrial growth. Farnborough offers a global showcase and an exceptional opportunity to demonstrate the strength of our aerospace ecosystem and its ability to compete successfully on the international stage".
