Quebec City – The music video for Le Rital by singer-songwriter Giacomo Lariccia is now available on YouTube. A true road clip, the video captures the highlights of Lariccia’s tour in Canada, both on and off stage: smiles, conversations, impromptu singing sessions in theatre kitchens, billiard games, long road trips with his Godin guitar always by his side, the breathtaking landscapes of Québec and the encounters that made the tour so special. The tour featured numerous guest musicians who joined Lariccia on stage for live performances. “The soundtrack of this tour was undoubtedly the song Le Rital,” Lariccia wrote. “A song that tells, in the first person, the story of when we were the emigrants, of the difficulties of integration (‘vos saisons sont devenues miennes’), of nostalgia and of the pride in one's roots (‘j’ai la mémoire de mon espèce, je suis rital et je le reste’).” The track is the first single from Lariccia’s new album, due to be released in the autumn. “We performed it in Modigliana together with Trinidad (Don Antonio, Fabio Mazzini and Enrico ‘Mao’ Bocchini), who will arrive here in Brussels at the beginning of August to play together at the festival,” the artist added.
