Carthage – To mark the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Italy and Tunisia, the legendary ensemble Rondò Veneziano will perform at the Carthage Amphitheatre on August 4th. The concert is part of the "Summer of Italian Music" initiative organized by the Italian Embassy and the Italian Cultural Institute in Tunis, featured within the prestigious International Festival of Carthage (July 12 - August 23).
Leading the ensemble will be founder, composer, and longtime conductor Maestro Gian Piero Reverberi, who is returning to the stage for what producers have confirmed will be his final public appearance and the last performance of his career. Spanning over four decades, Rondò Veneziano has forged a distinctive style by blending Venetian Baroque traditions with modern arrangements and contemporary sounds - a formula that has won over global audiences, resulting in millions of records sold and tours across the world’s most renowned theaters and festivals.
