Nairobi - On August 7, the Italian Cultural Institute of Nairobi, in collaboration with East African Ocean Explorers, will host "Kenya Beneath the Waves," a photography exhibition by National Geographic Explorer and Kenyan photographer Jahawi Bertolli, at the Village Market Rooftop Gallery in Nairobi. The photographs showcase the rich marine biodiversity along the Kenyan coast, serving as a visual journey that celebrates its beauty while calling for reflection on the vital need for ocean protection and conservation. Bertolli will attend the opening event for the exhibition, which runs through August 14. He is also the co-founder, alongside his wife Elke, of East African Ocean Explorers, an organization dedicated to raising awareness, promoting environmental education, and empowering a new generation of ocean storytellers and stewards.
