Bahia Blanca - The second edition of "Ready to Work in Trentino" officially launched in Argentina this week. Promoted by the Autonomous Province of Trento, the initiative aims to facilitate international recruitment and career placement within Trentino’s thriving tourism and hospitality sector.
The kickoff event took place in Bahía Blanca, drawing prominent local dignitaries and representatives from the Italian-Argentine community. Among those in attendance were the Consul of Italy in Bahía Blanca, Nicola Bazzani; Francisco Nardelli, Consultor for the Autonomous Province of Trento in Argentina; the Director of the Dante Alighieri Italian Institute; the Provincial Director of Vocational Training Centers; and the Executive Board of the local Italian Society.
The initiative generated overwhelming local interest, receiving over 250 applications for just 24 available positions. Selected candidates have now begun a rigorous 218-hour specialized training program structured around three core modules covering civic and cultural integration to refine Italian language skills, professional skills training focused on front-of-house operations, and full certification in workplace safety protocols compliant with Italian regulation. Following successful completion, participants will be deployed to partner hospitality venues across the Trentino region.
