Aarhus – The ninth art form has been celebrated every year since 2001 at the Art Bubble Festival in Aarhus. This year, Art Bubble, in cooperation with the Italian Cultural Institute in Copenhagen, will host two Italian comic-book artists, Paola Antista and Giovanni Rigano. Antista made her debut in Denmark when publishing house E-Voke released the first volume of her series about the young Magiline, who has been admitted to the Von School of Cryptozoology. Rigano studied natural sciences before being admitted to the School of Comics in Milan and later enrolling at Disney Academy. He has illustrated numerous albums for French publishing houses and, in 2025, drew Blacksad Stories: Weekly, a spin-off series set in the Blacksad universe, written by Juan Díaz Canales, who created Blacksad with Juanjo Guarnido. Rigano has also worked on numerous series for the US market, where he has focused mainly on illustrating the Artemis Fowl comic-book series. (9colonne)
