Manila - The Undersecretary of State for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Benedetto Della Vedova, is set to visit the Philippines and Singapore this week. In Manila, Della Vedova will meet with governmental counterparts to boost bilateral political dialogue and cooperation in various fields, as well as promoting economic and commercial relations, which have significant room for growth. The visit will also be the occasion to find out about new developments in Daniele Bosio’s court case. The Undersecretary will be accompanied by a delegation of Italian companies active in the field of agricultural machinery, coordinated by the Italian Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines and by the trade association UNACOMA. In Singapore, Della Vedova will celebrate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations with Italy, with a concert by Maestro Uto Ughi in the presence of local authorities. Della Vedova will also meet with his counterparts at the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Industry and Trade, and will lead a mission of Italian companies in the Cleantech sector, organized by the Italian Trade Agency and Confindustria in collaboration with the Embassy of Italy.
