The Solisti dell'Opera Italiana invade the Glyptotek museum

Oct. 28 – For the 14th edtion of the Week of the Italian Language in the World, the Italian Embassy in Denmark, with the patronage of the President of the Republic, is organizing an exhibition of Solisti dell'Opera Italiana, who will perform in Copenhagen on Friday, October 31 at 19.30, at the Glyptotek museum. These soloists include some of the most successful Italian musicians, selected from the Orchestra dell’Opera Italiana (composed of former musicians from the Orchestra of the Teatro Regio di Parma) and other major Italian orchestras. Among their artistic proposals, they specialize in Italian classical music, especially those piece composed by popular composers of the 19th century (Puccini, Rossini, Verdi, etc.). Their passion has turned them into specialists of original organic or chamber compositions, which combine a classical repertoire and the romantic divertissements of the 19th century. The originality of the formula, the competence of the staff, and the brilliance of the performances led the soloists to perform extensively in Italy and abroad. (Paf)
