Giovanni Maria Varisco in concert

(15 may 2018) Today at the Italian Institute of Culture of Buenos Aires will be a concert by the pianist Giovanni Maria Varisco. The event is part of the "Vivacissimo" series and the theme of the concert will be the sea. The thread and the central idea of the concert will be the sea. It will be an acoustic journey ranging from the esoteric intimacy of Satie to the delicacy of the "Suite Bergamasque", including the masterpiece "Clair de Lune". The performance culminates with Scriabin who, strongly influenced by his first encounter with the sea, composed "Sonata Fantasia op 19". Giovanni Maria Varisco graduated in 1982 from the Conservatory of Lecce and was a pupil of Maestro Giovanni Nenna and Maestro Sergio Perticaroli.
