Music, the Stadivari Sextet in Argentina

"The young strings of ancient Rome" concert will take place at the Teatro Coliseo in Buenos Aires on September 3rd featuring the Stadivari Sextet. Composed of musicians of the Symphony Orchestra of the National Academy of Santa Cecilia in Rome, the Stradivari Sextet boasts fruitful activities abroad. It was established in 2001 for the occasion of concerts organised as part of the International Exhibition "The Art of the Violin" held in Castel Sant'Angelo. The harmony, the cohesion, and the passionate commitment have transformed what was meant to be an occasional event into a larger project that now sees the Sextet engaged in concerts for important national and international concert venues. The music and the interaction of the Stradivari Sextet stands out for its great harmony, passion, and cohesion. The main focus is on contemporary music, with programmes featuring compositions by Richard Dubugnon, Fabio Massimo Capogrosso, Alessandra Bellino, and Yakir Arbib, among others. The Teatro Coliseo y Fundación Cultural Coliseum will organise the event in collaboration with the Italian Institute of Culture of Buenos Aires.
