The third edition of the Week of Italian Cuisine in the World, promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, comes alive also in the Czech Republic with the Italian Embassy gala evening last Tuesday at the Italian Institute of Culture in Prague, promoting products and territories of Lazio. In the evocative setting of the Baroque Chapel, in the presence of a large audience of institutional representatives, professionals, distributors, and Czech journalists, some of Lazio's excellences were presented with a menu that enhanced the region's raw materials with the interpretation of the starred chef Lele Usai and four stars of Italian cuisine in Prague: Matteo De Carli, Leonardo Di Clemente, Riccardo Lucque, and Emanuele Ridi. A special tribute was reserved for the Amatriciana chosen as a symbol of the territory. In his speech, Ambassador Francesco Saverio Nisio stressed the importance of Italian cuisine as a further vehicle for the promotion of culture in the world, a key element within the articulated category of values that make up the "Vivere all'Italiana" (Living the Italian style). The Councilor for Agriculture, promoting the supply chain of food culture, environment and natural resources of the Lazio Region, Enrica Onorati, underlined how the Lazio region is placed at the top of the Italian field by number of traditional products.
