The experimental infrastructure Elimaia-Elimed was inaugurated at the Physics Laboratory of the Academy of Sciences in Prague in collaboration with the Italian National Institute of Nuclear Physics (INFN), which aims to verify new possibilities in the care of tumors with adrotherapy using particle beams. A delegation from Italy attended the opening ceremony, led by Fernando Ferroni, president of the INFN. Italian Ambassador Francesco Nisio expressed satisfaction for an Italian product at the forefront that was fully developed in Sicily, and which significantly enriches scientific collaboration between Italy and the Czech Republic.
