From Monday to Friday, BigItalyFocus provides an information overview, ranged from development aid to made in Italy
For art lovers in Australia, last days (closes January 14) to visit "Contrappunti # 01": a dialogue between the works of the Australian Marco Fusinato and the Italian Vettor Pisani at the Italian Institute of Culture of Sydney. The project was developed by the IIC in Melbourne, in collaboration with the Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts (PICA) and the IIC in Sydney. "Contrappunti" is a multi-year project that, through a series of exhibitions, aims to contrast, by affinity or divergence, and beyond any generational logic, the search for some of the most interesting Italian and Australian artists, whose work and modus operandi are established and relate to contingencies very distant from those that belong to their respective contexts, with the aim of highlighting, beyond a supposed physical but above all cultural distance; new associations of thought, materialized through exhibitions that are, at the same time, opportunities for encounters and discussions.
