(20 february 2019) The 10th edition of the "Da Venezia a Mosca" (From Venice to Moscow) festival opens today - and will continue until Sunday, February 24th, with nine feature films from the 75th Venice International Film Festival 2018, directed by Alberto Barbera. The festival, at the Oktiabr Cinema, was organised by the Venice Biennale chaired by Paolo Baratta, in collaboration with the Italian Institute of Culture in Moscow. Directors Wilma Labate (Arrivederci Saigon), Stefano Consiglio (Evviva Giuseppe) and Emanuele Scaringi (La profezia dell'armadillo) will be present at the festival. Capri-Revolution by Mario Martone, from the Venice 2018 Competition will also be present. Outside of the Competition: "Una storia senza nome" by Roberto Andò. For Orizzonti, "La profezia dell'armadillo" by Emanuele Scaringi. For the Sconfini section, "Arrivederci Saigon" will be presented by Wilma Labate and "Il ragazzo più felice del mondo" by Gipi. For the section Venezia Classici, featuring of great restorations of the past year and documentaries about cinema, the masterpiece "Il posto" (1961) by Ermanno Olmi, who died in May 2018, and the documentary 24/25 - "Il fotogramma in più" by Giancarlo Rolandi and Federico Pontiggia.
