MOSCOW

The photographic exhibition "Horizons of Italy from State Police helicopters" was inaugurated on March 11, in the presence of the Italian Ambassador in Moscow, Pasquale Terracciano. The exhibition, hosted at the Multimedia Art Museum in Moscow collects the shots taken by Massimo Sestini from the AgustaWestland AW139 and the AB212 Leonardo-Finmeccanica helicopters of the Italian Police. In his photos, Sestini has immortalised the Italian landscapes, an hour after sunset or an hour before dawn, giving life to an unprecedented project. "The show has aroused strong emotions in Italy and I am sure it will be a great success even with the Russian public, helping to teach the world about our country in an innovative way and to grow that curiosity and the already intense and lively interest towards the "Bel Paese". Once again, art qualifies as an irreplaceable tool for strengthening the historic bonds of friendship and collaboration between Italy and Russia, "Ambassador Terracciano wrote in the preface of the exhibition catalogue.
