(21 march 2019) “Das Licht der Sonne, die Energie der Vulkane! The light of the sun, the energy of the volcano! ". A powerful message that characterised the presence of the Consortium for the Protection of Wines of the Euganean Hills at Prowine in Dusseldorf. The stand was crowded with visitors and buyers during the three-day fair, bewitched by the extraordinary selection of Fior d'Arancio Colli Euganei Docg proposed by the guest cellars Quota 101, Maeli, Tenuta Gambalonga, and Terre Gaie, together with the cellar of the great tenor Andrea Bocelli and of his brother Alberto. Elegance and character have distinguished the Paduan presence in Germany at Prowine, a fair with a strong international vocation that represented an excellent opportunity for the Euganean labels to consolidate and expand its presence in strategic markets, in particular European ones, but also the United States where the export of wines from the Euganean Hills grows thanks to the relationships and exchanges that are more and more frequently proposed by the Consortium. The Düsseldorf fair therefore represents another important step in the internationalisation process that involves an increasing number of producers associated with the Euganean Hills Wine Consortium. In fact, just a few weeks ago, a dozen buyers from the American wine sector were guests of the Consortium in an incoming for the expansion and consolidation of marketing channels in the United States.
