The first edition of the Italian Jazz Festival Connections Lab is starting tonight at the headquarters of the Italian Institute of Culture in Brussels, an event born from the collaboration between the Institute and Angelo Gregorio, jazz musician, and music teacher.The initiative aims to become a recurring event in the rich panorama of the musical life of the European capital: an opportunity for meeting and of exchange between artists who combine their original cultural background with the lively occurences of an international context in which the most different voices live together and dialogue with each other. The first edition will focus on "Italian composers". Each group will present a piece by an Italian composer of his choice, freely interpreting it according to his own artistic vein.
