As part of the 36th International Music Festival in Ankara, the Italian Embassy in Turkey, in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute in Istanbul, presents the Giovanni Guidi concert with the Avec Le Temps quintet on Saturday, April 13th at 20:00. Tenor sax Dan Kinzelman, an American resident in Italy (probably one of the most important young saxophonists of the new generation active in Europe), guitar guru Roberto Cecchetto and two faithful long-time companions like Joe Rehmer (also from the US) on the double bass, and Portuguese drummer Joao Lobo, will accompany Giovanni Guidi. They have recently released an album for the EMI Records label which is called, like the group, Avec Le Temps.
