Rabat - "L’anno dell’uovo" by Claudio Casale has been chosen for the Venice retrospective in Rabat, to be held at the Cinéma Renaissance in the Moroccan capital. The screening, organized by the Italian Cultural Institute and the Embassy of Italy in Rabat in collaboration with the Institut Supérieur des Métiers de l’Audiovisuel et du Cinéma de Rabat and Fondation Hiba, will take place on October 9th at 6 PM. "L’anno dell’uovo" tells the story of Gemma and Adriano, two young people about to become parents for the first time. They decide to temporarily leave their daily lives so the pregnancy can take place in a spiritual community that practices meditations and prayers, aiming for a birth under the influence of a golden egg dominating the temple. Adriano, unlike Gemma who easily adapts, struggles to connect with the atmosphere and way of life of the community. Suddenly, an unexpected and unwanted event triggers a crisis for both, from which negative events or, conversely, new opportunities could arise. (9colonne)
