The Italian Pavilion inaugurated at MIPIM 2025 in Cannes

The Italian Pavilion at MIPIM 2025 in Cannes was inaugurated in the presence of the Italian Consul General in Nice, Emilio Lolli Ceroni, and Luigi Ferrelli, director of the Paris office of Agenzia ICE. Italy presents itself as a united system, with the South playing a leading role for the first time.

At the international real estate fair, running until 14 March, the focus is on the transformation of cities and territories, aiming to attract international capital. During the opening ceremony of "Casa Italia," special attention was given to enhancing Italy’s territories and expertise.

A collective narrative highlights significant investment opportunities: the Italian market saw positive trends in 2024, with nearly €10 billion in investments and a strong return of international capital, not only in the office sector but also in commercial real estate, logistics, and the growing residential market—now a European priority.

The hospitality sector, however, stands out as Italy’s flagship, and will be one of the key topics at the Italian Conference, coordinated by Marco Leone, senior advisor MRICS, scheduled for tomorrow in Cannes.

Another major strength of Italy is its strategic location—a natural bridge between Africa and Europe—becoming increasingly important for innovation and logistics-digital infrastructure, with data centers emerging as a fast-growing asset.
