From Monday to Friday, BigItalyFocus provides an information overview, ranged from development aid to made in Italy
As in previous matches, the Italy vs Germany game will also feature the "Connect Me Too" service, an inclusive audiodescription service that allows blind, visually impaired, and multi-disabled fans to experience the game live in the stadium. This initiative is part of the ongoing efforts by the FIGC (Italian Football Federation) to promote inclusion and accessibility, aiming to increase the engagement of all fans.
For the Italy - Germany match, scheduled for Thursday, March 20 at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium, as part of the UEFA Nations League quarterfinal first-leg, "Connect Me Too" will be available. The system, developed by CMT Translations, provides a hyper-descriptive commentary through the voice of a specially trained professional who covers every aspect of the game. The audiodescriber faithfully narrates the action on the pitch, on the benches, in the stands, and describes every detail, such as the players' shirts or their hairstyle.
The goal is to fully engage visually impaired individuals and offer them an unforgettable experience. For this occasion, 30 fans, invited by the Istituto dei Ciechi di Milano and the Real Eyes Sport association, will be seated in the first orange ring of the stadium and will be able to enjoy, like never before, the match and the excitement it generates.
